Zimmie joined our household during the Coronavirus lockdown in April 2020. She had previously been self-isolating with another family in Chelsea for 3 weeks. She was always careful and when going out wearing mask and gloves and fitted in with our house rules during the lockdown.
I had a difficult v delivery and was unable to lift and carry my 11-week-old daughter Selina. We needed a Night Nanny as it was especially important for my recovery to be able to improve the quality of my sleep. We also needed someone with a lot of experience in looking after small babies and it had to be a person, we felt total confidence in looking after Selina at night. We felt this with Zimmie. Zimmie became my right hand in physically being able to look after Selina and help me be the mum I wanted to be. This included lifting, carrying Selina up our 3 flights of stairs as well as helping with nappy changes, setting up the bath and doing all the night feeds. Zimmie was engaging with Selina, played with her, and entertained her when I needed to rest. She was affectionate and caring. We decided to extend our initial 1 month booking with Zimmie as I began to feel stronger and felt that her help in looking after Selina at night had really started to improve the speed of my recovery.
Before Zimmie joined our household, we asked if she would be able to help prepare light lunches for me. I had some dietary restrictions and she was able to adapt and prepare suitable meals for me. Zimmie is a good cook, she also made some healthy snacks, delicious energy balls and some tasty dinners as well.
We felt totally comfortable and at ease having Zimmie in our home. She has a very easy-going personality, her style is relaxed, flexible and more baby led. One of her strengths is her ability to adapt to different households. We would recommend her to other friends who needed a maternity nurse.

I had a little boy who was born a month premature, Zimmie was able to come in to our very busy household – this is my 4th baby – and reassure me that he was doing well given his early appearance, and helped build my confidence to exclusively breastfeed. At 13 weeks old, thanks to Zimmie, I have been able to continue to solely breastfeed and she continues to reassure me that I have enough milk to do so – this was one of my primary concerns due to his early arrival.
I have 4 children under 5 and I was extremely relieved and grateful to see how relaxed and calm Zimmie was with all of my children. Zimmie also got on really well with our nanny and housekeepers which helped the household come together as a team. There were several occasions when I was feeding my baby that I would find Zimmie kindly reading a story to my 4 year old, or playing with my 2 year old and getting them all involved with my baby, which they were all so eager to do.

Zimmie is a true professional. Not only has she taken courses and read extensively on “all things baby,” she is constantly staying up-to-date on the latest research – specifically regarding breastfeeding, weaning, and post-natal support for mothers. She is punctual and flexible. We always knew we could count on her.
Zimmie has a keen emotional IQ. She quickly can read a room, know when to offer encouragement, and when to give parents their space. We had several family members visit during Zimmie’s time with us. She was patient and helped us navigate how to handle visitors with a brand-new baby.
We are forever grateful to Zimmie for many reasons, but above all, we are grateful for her friendship. We are so fortunate that Zimmie was a part of our baby’s first months, and we look forward to her joining our family again when we have our next baby. Simply put, there is no one better.

Zimmie was our baby nurse for our first born child. We had our baby through a surrogate in the US, and he was 10 weeks old when Zimmie started working for us back in London. Zimmie stayed with us for over three months. We originally had booked Zimmie for six weeks but we soon realised we needed Zimmie in our lives for much longer!
I cannot recommend Zimmie highly enough. We had two other baby nurses in the US, and Zimmie is in her own league separate to any other baby nurses. She is incredibly patient, calm, warm and has the most infectious laugh and smile. She was brilliant with our son, always playing and giggling with him, and she was fantastic at teaching us all the things that you need to know. She made sure our son was sleeping through the night and well established with napping and feeding routines.
Zimmie was so flexible and accommodating with regards to her days off, as well as open to coming in early or leaving late if necessary. She would absolutely be our first choice if we have another baby!

Zimmie was our maternity nurse for our first children – twin boys – born at 35 weeks. Before going into any details, I would just start by saying that I wholeheartedly recommend Zimmie and would insist on having her work with us if we ever have another baby. For us, she was literally a miracle worker!
I was scheduled to have a c‑section at week 37; however, my boys decided to arrive week 35. Zimmie was incredibly accommodating and agreed to start with us early, which was a huge help. Within a few weeks of working with her, we knew we wanted to keep her with us as long as possible, so we extended our time with her to over five months! We also traveled with her to Paris for a weekend, Greece for a week, and finally the US for two weeks. Traveling without her would have been pretty much impossible – and she was an excellent travel companion.
